Squirrels
Fox, grey, red, and flying squirrels can all be a nuisance. A black squirrel is located in the Northern tier of Pennsylvania and is merely a grey squirrel that is missing a pigment gene.
The largest squirrel is the fox squirrel.
Flying squirrels don’t actually fly, they glide.
Breeding in December through January, a male squirrel is called a boar, the female is a sow, and the young they have are called kits, or pups. Kits, or pups, are usually born during the months of March through April.
